I am very happy to present our website with more vibrancy in a new garb. I hope this will help us to be updated on matters related to school. Our ceaseless academic endeavours have resulted in the sparkling victory of our AISSE and AISSCE batches last year. I congratulate all students and thank all teachers, parents and well wishers who worked behind this grand achievement. It must be an inspiration to our forthcoming batches too.
The VIth Lourdean Basketball Tournament was a managerial masterpiece. I thank all the members of PTA who stood shoulder to shoulder to sustain the tournament as the most sought-after one in its kind in Kerala.
In the Kottayam Sahodaya Youth Festival 2009 in which more than 60 schools participated, our school secured IVth position with 470 points aggregate. Our Category I students deserve special applauds for their runner-up trophy. I congratulate and thank all the teachers, students and parents who toiled behind this fabulous achievement.
In Lourdes, apart from mere academic excellence, we strive to orient students to imbibe the habit of truthfulness, discipline, cleanliness and punctuality. But our time requires that students must be equipped with an attitude to cope up with failures too, as they are indispensable to human life. However, it does not mean that they must prepare to fail. Rather it means they must always expect and accept setbacks whether expected or unexpected, encountering them in spite of their hard work.  Parents and teachers have a lot to do in this respect by giving proper guidance. Let us absorb this spirit and make failures stepping stones for success.
